NEW EARLY UPDATE!! 4.8 NEW CHARACTER AND RERUN BANNERS ( YELAN AND NAVIA) - Genshin Impact

We're nearing the end of the Fontaine patches, with just one version remaining, which is Version 4.8, set for release on July 17th. With the second half of Version 4.7 approaching, we already have quite a bit of information about Version 4.8, including character wish banners, a new character, the first phase and second phase characters, events, new skins, and more. In this video, we'll go over what we know so far about the character banners in the upcoming Version 4.8. Keep in mind, this information is based on leaks, so some details might change when Version 4.8 goes live.

As you know, the only confirmed character for Version 4.8 so far is Emilie. We have detailed information about her, with just a few changes happening recently. her gameplay isn't my style, I really like her burst animation though. If you want to see her gameplay leaks, you can find them all over the internet, especially on YouTube and Twitter. Now that Emilie is confirmed as the new character for Version 4.8, we can focus on the reruns. According to leaks from hxg_diluc and Fullstopchan, Nilou will be making a return. This isn't surprising. are you surprised? because i'm not, especially since she's getting a new skin in this version. If you're looking forward to Nilou's rerun, start saving your Primogems now. Navia is also mentioned in the leaks, meaning she will appear in the banners of Version 4.8. As for the last character, it will be none other than Yelan. This is quite surprising since Yelan already had more than three event wish banners, and we thought she would join the chronicled wish banner. However, according to the latest information, she might appear in Version 4.8. We're still missing characters like Kokomi, Hu Tao, Wriothesley, and Shenhe. It's confusing since miHoYo mentioned they would add characters with more than three wish banners to the chronicled banners. Remember, this information is based on leaks. Back in Version 4.5, we thought Albedo was going to rerun, but he ended up in the chronicled wish banner. The same might apply to Yelan this time. In the first phase of Version 4.8, Navia and Nilou will appear, and in the second phase, Emilie and Yelan will be featured. If Yelan does not get her own event banner, then we might see a chronicled wish banner.

If Version 4.8 introduces another chronicled wish banner, it will most likely be focused on Liyue characters. Many Liyue characters, such as Ganyu, Childe, and Hu Tao, have been absent from recent banners. There were earlier rumors suggesting that chronicled wish banners would only appear during dry patches. This rumor might have stemmed from the fact that the first chronicled wish banner was released in Version 4.5, which was indeed a dry patch. However, considering the amount of new content we're getting in Version 4.8, it might not be classified as a dry patch. If the rumor about dry patches is true, we might not see a chronicled wish banner in Version 4.8. That said, it's also possible the rumor is false, and we could still see a chronicled wish banner regardless of the patch's content. Let's see what mihoyo is upto.
