Alan Dell pays tribute to Henry Hall, who passed away on 28th October 1989, with some of his best-known recordings from 1931 to 1938, and the rare unreleased recording made on 19th February 1932 of Henry Hall introducing the New BBC Dance Orchestra.
Following the programme, there is the beginning of Big Band Era with recordings by Ray Anthony and Ralph Flanagan.
