In this week's macro photography tutorial I show an easy but creative idea you can shoot at home, with all the tips and tricks you'll need to take shots just like it. I put a flame to a coffee bean, resulting in a fiery image that's easy to shoot but looks amazing. I show how I use flash lighting, how I balance my settings to capture fire and how I blend the images together using Lightroom and Photoshop.
It's a great idea to try at home but MAKE SURE YOU DO IT SAFELY. Ensure your room is well ventilated, that you don't have any loose clothing or other materials nearby and that you have a fire blanket or extinguisher on hand in case of accident. If you try this for yourself, you do so entirely at your own risk. Okay? Okay.
