How to open the lid of a Dreame Vacuum Robot like the L10 Pro, Z10, W10 or D9: Gently apply some pressure here to access the Debug Port! With this, you can root your robot and install a cloud-free alternative firmware like Valetudo.

Caution: Open the Dreame robot at your own risk - use only gentle pressure to avoid breaking the lid or the mounting bolts when removing the top panel!

This is how you open the lid of the Dreame vacuum robots (showing the Dreame L10 Pro as an example): Carefully go under the plate with a flat tool such as a screwdriver or knife and gently push the seven mounting bolts upwards. There you can find the Debug Port needed to root the robot and to install the cloud-free Valetudo firmware.
