Twitch Adds "Boost This Stream" So That Viewers Pay To Help You Grow. It's a feature that's been around on Instagram, where if you post on a business account, Instagram offers the user to pay, so that their post will get exposed to thousands of people, who might be interested in your post or not.
This is a feature will get your streams exposed to thousands of people, but will it actually help you grow your Twitch channel? Especially when there's so many viewers who want to recommend others' streams to get recognized? Or maybe there will be less people that will pay to recommend your stream, since so many are disappointed with this feature.

I personally don't like this feature. It's being tested with a small group of streamers, and I think it's a waste of money. I doubt it will help my stream grow, as I've been raided with hundreds of viewers, and 99% of the time, those viewers tend to leave after my stream, or even before my stream ends, which is perfectly alright. It's because when you raid a streamer, you present your viewers to a completely different atmosphere, where they're observing the streamer, and their layout to see if they'll like it. A lot of times, they don't, unless your community is heavily associated with those people all the time, to the point, where your community members will have the chance to get to know them while being in your community.

What do you guys think of this new feature? We'll see how it'll go, but I doubt it's going to make any benefits for streamers, in my opinion. I'm usually a positive guy, but based on my experience being exposed with hundreds of people, I doubt this will bring organic growth to streamers.
