How To Share Your Location on iPhone
Let me show you a quick simple way to share your location using an iPhone. First, ensure your location services are activated. Open the Settings app, navigate to "Privacy and Security," and check if "Location Services" is on. Also, verify that the "Find My" feature is enabled.
With the settings configured, exit Settings and open either the Contacts app or the Phone app to select the contact you wish to share your location with. Scroll to the bottom of their contact details and tap "Share My Location." You'll be prompted to choose the duration of the location sharing: indefinitely, for the rest of the day, or for one hour.
Once you've made your selection, your contact will receive a notification that you're sharing your location. They can view this by opening the Find My app on their device, tapping the "People" tab, and selecting your name to see your current location for the chosen duration. They can also share their location with you in the same way if they choose.
And that's how you share your location with friends in your contacts on an iPhone.
