AIRWAY ASSESSMENT
Airway management is done by the ABC (airway, breathing and circulation) approach. The initital airway assessment involves auscultation and palpation alongside obtundation which suggests hypercarbia. Whereas, cyanosis indicates hypoxemia. The non-invasive airway management ensures adequate oxygenation. The supplemental oxygen can be delivered via various oxygen delivery techniques and ventilation.

RAPID SEQUENCE INTUBATION
One of the methods of definitive airway management is the rapid sequence intubation (RSI). It invovles oral intubation without interposed body mass ventilation (BMV). For the procedure, LEMON law is followed alongside the Mallampati classification. RSI can be done using induction agents, neuromuscular blocking agents and blind nasotracheal intubation (BNTI).

DIFFICULT AND FAILED AIRWAY
Both the difficult and failed airway can be managed in their own ways. Some of the devices used for difficult or failed airway incldue video laryngoscopy, fibroptic intubation alongside cricothyrotomy and digital intubation. The pediatric airway equipment selection is based on length and weight. Cervical spine injury can also occur.
