The AI PC landscape in India is evolving with Qualcomm and its OEM partners like ASUS launching multiple laptops powered by the Snapdragon X platform. ASUS announced the Zenbook A14 and Vivobook 16 AI PC laptops at the recent event. Tarun Pathak, Research Director at Counterpoint Research sat down with ASUS’ Arnold Su, VP, Consumer and Gaming PC, ASUS India to talk about channel strategy, AI PC use cases and more. In this conversation, Arnold draws parallels to the smartphone revolution, predicting widespread AI PC adoption within the next three to five years. He emphasises the importance of on-device AI capabilities to overcome internet connectivity challenges in rural India, and the need to shift perceptions of the Indian market beyond entry-level products. ASUS is focusing on enhancing customer experience through experience zones and expanding their reach to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
