Everybody has to customise their premiere pro to suite their unique requirements. I think the fear of losing all your hard tuned settings is one of the main reason that many users don't reset their windows/mac and hence reinstall premiere pro. But one you learned how easy it is to get all your settings back by exporting your profile and then importing back.
