#1 Mistake Copywriters Make with GPT4
Inside this video I’ll share the #1 mistake that I see people making when using ChatGPT, GPT4, or really any generative AI Model as a writing/brainstorming partner.
I also show this mistake in the context of doing market research, which is a crucial part of the copywriting process.
You’ll see how to generate compelling copy in the language of your prospect, using specific prompts, that can then be taken and inserted into your copy. While this video focuses on copy, the lessons inside are important for anyone who interacts with tools like Chat GPT regularly.
Here are the prompts covered in this video (note, you should still watch the video because I show some very important modifications in it!):
Prompt #1: Write an Emotional 1,000 Word Journal Entry from the perspective of a MAN/WOMAN who is LIST THEIR PRIMARY PAIN POINT. HE/SHE feels DOMINANT NEGATIVE EMOTION(S). Be creative!
^^Just capturing the negative emotional state of your prospective customer.
Prompt #2B:Rewrite the above but replace "I" with "YOU".
^^ this one just makes life easier by giving you sentences or chunks of copy that you can potentially put right into your sales copy. Because now you are talking directly TO the prospect with the copy.
Prompt #3: Write an Emotional 1,000 Word Journal Entry from the perspective of a MAN/WOMAN who is LIST THEIR PRIMARY PAIN POINT. Focus on HIS/HER observations about how the outside world looks at HIM/HER and treats HIM/HER because HE/SHE DESCRIBE THEIR PRIMARY PAIN POINT, and how that makes HIM/HER feel DOMINANT NEGATIVE EMOTION(S). Be Creative!
^^ Note that the difference here is that for #3, we are focusing on the fear/pain of feeling like the outside world is perceiving you in a negative way. So it’s the pain of not being seen in the light you desire.
