Lund is a historic city in southern Sweden. Lund known for its prestigious Lund University, founded in 1666. The university is one of the oldest in Europe.

Our walking tour starts at the Lund train station, arriving from nearby Malmö. On this day trip from Copenhagen we visited Malmö, Lund and Helsingborg which are all on the channel.

In the city center we visit the Lund Cathedral, which dates back to the 12th century. Inside the cathedral we also see its astronomical clock.

With Lund's compact size it's easy to get a good feel of this smaller Swedish city with its cobblestone streets. The "Kulturen in Lund - Museum of Cultural History and Open-Air Museum" is closed on this day yet we get a glimpse of old, colorful houses nearby.

We end our walking tour right where we started - at the train station - as we continue to Helsingborg.
