Bangkok, Thailand - Around Khao San Road - 4K
We are in Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand and a regular tour destination here on POPtravel. Bangkok is known for its street life, cultural landmarks, and several markets. The main attractions include the Grand Palace, Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), Wat Pho, and Chatuchak Weekend Market.
Bangkok is a major financial and business hub in Southeast Asia, with a population of over 8 million people. The city is served by two international airports: Suvarnabhumi Airport and Don Mueang Airport. The Chao Phraya River flows through the city, providing a vital transportation route.
Our walk starts at the Phra Pin Klao Pier which is a public ferry terminal on the Chao Phraya River. We walk a bit along the river and then get into the street life of Bangkok in the Phra Nakhom district. We see some quiet temples and of cause also the (in)famous Khao San Road.
