1. Intro [00:00]
2. Power down the Google Pixel 4a [00:42]
3. Wait a few seconds until it's completely shut down. [00:50]
4. Then press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time. [01:12]
5. Continue holding these two buttons down until you see the Fastboot Mode menu. [01:50]
6. Now you can navigate through the Google Pixel 4a Bootloader Mode menu with the hardware buttons [02:18]

7. Make sure the "Start" option is highlighted. [03:35]
8. And then press the Power button to boot out of Fastboot Mode. [04:08]

Android has a few special boot modes available for devices that choose to use them. One of these is often referred to as Fastboot Mode but some also tend to call it Bootloader Mode as well.

These are both actually the same thing and it's a way for us to execute various Fastboot commands through a terminal, Windows PowerShell, or a command line.

We can also do things like boot over into Recovery Mode, directly through the Pixel 4a Fastboot Mode menu. We just need to enter into this special boot mode first. So let me show you how.
