7-6 Inserting Dimensions - Solidworks Tutorials
Insert Model Items: This method allows you to import dimensions from the 3D model into your drawing. Go to the Annotations tab and click "Insert Model Items." You can choose to import dimensions from the entire model or just a selected feature.
Smart Dimension Tool: Similar to sketching, you can use the Smart Dimension tool directly in the drawing view. Select the entities in the drawing view that you want to dimension and the tool will create the dimension.
