How to Put a Box Around Text In Google Docs is shown in this video. To make a box around text in Google docs follow are the steps
1. Open Google docs Document and enter the text
2. Click on the text line you want to box
3. Go to the "Format" option and then Under "Paragraph Styles" click "Borders and Shading" option
4. Select Bottom, top right and left Border in from of "Position" option
4.Select borders and lines thickness and color etc
5. Set "Paragraph Padding" to Zero and Click Apply
