In this tutorial, I show you two ways to make text in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2021 or version 15. The first method is to use the new Captions workspace and functionality. Simply click on Captions at the top of your editor.

Left click on Captions - then click on the Create new Captions Track button. You get a few options, select subtitle. Now, in the captions panel, you will see a plus sign. Click on it.

This will add in a caption. You can now select the caption by double clicking it and adjusting the text / wording. Notice that this is on the brand new C1 track - this is a caption track.

You can adjust the length of the caption, where the caption stops and starts, and the font, colour, size, stroke, and fill as well. This is an amazing way to make text easily.
