Aliens Dark Descent - How to use a sniper rifle?
This Aliens Dark Descent game guide shows the best way of operating a sniper rifle. Make sure you've met all of the requirements:
Pick a Recon class for your marine when he's on level 3
Buy the Sniper Rifle for 100 Materials (only one time)
Unlock the Silencer upgrade for your marine
You should be taking the Recon soldiers on all of the later missions. Use the Precision Shot skill to quietly eliminate patrolling enemies, sleeping enemies and facehugger eggs. Make sure you have at least 1 Command Point to activate the skill. You also have to be quick and take the shot before the red line is complete and your team is detected. Thankfully the Sniper Rifle has a very large range.
