A Singapore study has found that recipients of the Sinovac vaccine are nearly five times more likely to experience severe symptoms from COVID-19 than those who received Pfizer shots. The study involved about 2.7 million adults who received two doses under the national vaccination programme. CNA spoke to Dr Calvin Chiew, Associate Consultant at the National Public Health and Epidemiology Unit at NCID. He is one of the authors of the study.
