At least 40 dead, 60 injured after Israeli strike on tent camp in Gaza humanitarian zone
At least 40 people have been killed and 60 others injured, after Israeli missiles set ablaze a camp for displaced Palestinians in southern Gaza. Witnesses said at least four missiles struck the encampment in the Al-Mawasi area. This is one of the deadliest strikes yet in the Al-Mawasi area -- designated by Israel as a humanitarian zone -- which provides shelter for hundreds of thousands of civilians. Israel has disputed the death toll, claiming the strike targeted a Hamas command centre operating within the humanitarian area. Sarah Coates reports from Tel Aviv.
