These technologies are on the verge of revolutionizing the daily work of both professional software developers as well as system administrators. They provide novel tools that change the way how software artifacts are produced, tested, deployed, and operated. This talk introduces the core principles of container-based virtualization and discusses methods, implementations and applications. It dives deep into industrial use-cases and features a hands-on session demonstrating how to put complex applications into production by deploying multi-container stacks using Docker.
