Artificial neural networks (ANN) are computing systems inspired by the biological neural networks that constitute human and animal brains.
They are based on artificial neurons which loosely model the neurons in a biological brain. Such systems "learn" to perform tasks by considering examples, without being programmed. Recent developments like convolutional networks were the first to achieve human-competitive performance on certain tasks.
In this presentation Florian Kandlinger, Senior IT Consultant at msg, will give you a short and easy to understand overview about this game changing technology and recent state of the art developments.
