I wanted to add a lower third to my Google Hangout livestream and the Google Hangout Toolbox doesn't work. Instead, I discovered OBS can be used as a virtual camera and therefore I can select it in Google Hangouts. Lower Thirds are used in newsrooms and panel discussions on television.
