On June 3, 1924, Franz Kafka died in Kierling (today Klosterneuburg), an Austrian town located next to the Danube and near Vienna. Fortunately, Max Brod ignored his friend's explicit request to burn “absolutely all manuscripts, his own and other people's letters, drawings, etc., found in my legacy.” Thanks to this “betrayal”, on the centenary of the death of the author born on July 3, 1883 in Prague, we can enjoy the great editorial deployment, even in the Spanish language, that the Czech deserves, whom we remember in this report.
