1st up - the A Zildjian. I bought this recently. It appears to be an 18" medium ride. Stamp has the three dots, and Made in USA. Any printing has worn or been cleaned off. Weighs approx. 1900g
It's not much use to me as it is and the slight damage (some key-holing and a few flea bites) limits its resale value. I'm considering asking a local cymbalsmith about lathing it down and perhaps hammering it a little.
2nd - a Paiste Formula 602 18", approx. 2050g! This is heavier than any vintage Paiste 18" cymbal I can find online. It's probably a heavy ride. It has a serial no. 501711.
It has had some edge damage cut out of it professionally by a previous owner, and I know its history.
I'm not planning to sell this cymbal or do anything to change it, I'm just curious about it. Comments welcome.
