Just seeing how this combo kit sounds as I have a recording project coming up in a proper studio. And sorry about the length of this; it was a 13-minute take with the worst bits cut out.
The WFL Ludwig kit is 22" 13" 14" but I need a floor tom with some serious bottom end. Sounds from this test like I need to make a few tweaks, maybe swap out some heads.
The snare is a recently-acquired Noble & Cooley 5" made from a single piece of steam-bent maple.
Cymbals are Paiste Twenty (the original 2007-11 series), 13" hats, 18" thin crash, 20" ride, 20" light ride.
Room sound only from a couple of older Tascam field recorders and a cheapo mic connected to the DSLR camera.
The sticks are very cheap, lightweight 5A maple, good for fast and quieter playing, but they break easily!
