Sneaker lab and Designer Dian Holton
Dian is deputy art director at AARP and a FAMU graduate. A former military dependent, she grew up in the U.S., Berlin and Seoul. In fact, her creative passion continues to be fueled by global jaunts where she often discovers new social initiatives and gathers inspiration for future projects. Her favorite creatives are former Rolling Stone art director Gail Anderson, Donald Robertson (aka “the Andy Warhol of Instagram”), and sports digital artist Rob Generette III. Her body of work includes publishing (print/digital), integrated marketing, branding, and retail visual display. Dian has spent 10+ years on the board of AIGA’s Washington, DC, chapter and serves on AIGA’s Diversity and Inclusion task force.
This collection is an ode to my military family members who, like so many, sacrifice and serve to protect the United States domestically and abroad. Growing up with an Infantry Colonel as a dad and several uncles and cousins who also served, it’s probably no surprise that I embrace a chain of command, appreciate camouflage prints, and have an affinity for adapting to new environments. The result? A 3-part hyper-focused line to help athletes and fashion mavens achieve success no matter the mission.
