Best thoccs or best clack? Aluminium vs Polycarbonate Cases ft. The Mark: 65
In this video, I transform the Polycarbonate Mark: 65 to make a side-by-side comparison against the Aluminium version. With all else constant (plate material, switches and case design), we can then find out how different case material impacts the acoustics of a mechanical keyboard. Hopefully this video is helpful for you in deciding what case material to go for! Note: I take Polycarbonate to be a broad representation of any non-metal case i.e. ABS, PLA, Frosted etc while Aluminium is a representation for metal ones i.e. Iron, Brass, Copper.
