Keskiaika Suomessa alkoi Rautakauden ja viikinkiajan lopun jälkeen. Ajanjakson alku sijoittuu noin 1100-luvulle. Keskiajan alulle on ominaista Suomeen lännestä tehdyt ristiretket joita oli lopulta kolme kappaletta. Retket olivat kristinuskon varjolla tehtyjä lännen hallitsijoiden valloitusretkiä jotka lopulta johtivat länsi- ja etelärannikon kolonalisaatioon. Suomesta tuli osa Ruotsin valtakuntaa ja sen itämaata. Tässä They Talk Suomen jaksossa perehdymme 1100 luvulta 1300 luvun lopun väliseen ajanjaksoon Suomessa. Tervetuloa mukaan.
