Rendezvous in Masbate | Masbate Travel Vlog |
At the crossroads of islands between Luzon and Visayas is where the province of Masbate lies. With its vast lands of numerous ranches that raises supplies of livestocks for the whole country, it is no wonder that rodeo has become so much popular here that it has become a yearly festival and earned the monicker Rodeo Capital of the Philippines. But beyond the cattles, ranches and rodeos, Masbate is an underrated charming province. On my summertime rendezvous in Masbate, I saw a unique waterfall that empties into an open sea, a mangrove park that is environmentally focused, a stunning island sandbar that promotes ecotourism, a captivating scenic mountain viewpoint and a sweet tooth satisfying pasalubong called Carmelado. I wasn't just charmed by the simple and harmonious life in Masbate nor bewitched by its scenic places of interests. But I was also delighted by the kindness and warmth of Masbateño people whom I consider as some of the most friendliest in the country. My first time trip in Masbate yearned for a longer stay because of them. And although, I felt that I explored enough of this place, I am yet to explore its other major islands like Ticao and Burias that has its own charms to explore. Yet, I still had an exceptional rendezvous in Masbate as it quenched my thirst for discovery, wonderment and adventure.
