To play 2-player split-screen in Minecraft on Xbox, follow these steps:
Prepare for Split-Screen:
Ensure your Xbox is connected to a TV or monitor that supports at least 720p resolution, as split-screen mode requires HD output.
Start the Game:
Launch Minecraft and load or create a world. Make sure it’s in Survival or Creative mode, as split-screen doesn’t work on certain online multiplayer servers.
Connect the Second Controller:
Turn on the second controller and press the Xbox button.
Sign in with a different Xbox account or as a guest.
Add the Second Player:
Once you’re in the world with the first player, have the second player press Options (the Menu button) on their controller to join.
Play in Split-Screen:
The game will automatically split the screen, with each player’s view taking up half of the display.
