Using Excel data providers is overrated | Use this instead | automateNow
There are several great ways to manage test data--Excel is NOT one of them!
When it comes to storing test data, many people use Excel, when instead they should be using JSON or, better yet--YAML. Using the latter will benefit from better test performance and simpler code.
