The Texas Rangers' offense struggled in 2024 and one free agent bat that could help is DH Joc Pederson. Texas has a potential opening at DH and Pederson would give the Rangers a bat who destroys right-handed pitching after a great season with the Diamondbacks. Ken Rosenthal mentioned Texas as a potential landing spot for Joc Pederson.
The Athletic also linked the Rangers to free agent reliever Tanner Scott. Texas missed out on signing Josh Hader last season and needs to be aggressive in filling their bullpen.
