Adding to the aerial fray in the Middle East, Yemen-based Houthi rebels on Nov 06 fired a fresh barrage of drones at Israel. Taking the responsibility of the attack, Spox of the Yemeni Armed Forces shared details on platform X. “Yemeni Armed Forces fired a batch of drones at sensitive Israeli targets,” said the statement. Yemeni Armed Forces further claimed that they will continue to carry out more qualitative military operations. Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen on October 31 officially entered the Israel-Hamas war. Houthi waded into the ongoing war and fired drones, and missiles at the southern city of Israel in the Red Sea. Recent attacks from Houthi rebels come amid rising escalations and possible fears of widening war. Houthis are part of armed groups that encompass Iranian-backed Shi'ite Muslim factions in Iraq, Lebanon's Hezbollah group. Earlier on Nov 03, Hezbollah leader claimed of wider Middle East conflict 'realistic possibility'. Israel has bombarded the enclave, encircled Gaza, and carried out ground ops during the second stage of the war. Since the war began, over 10,000 people lost their lives out of which around 4,100 children have been killed as per Gaza health officials.
