We found this amazing hot spring resort in the center of the #SierraNevada of California called #MonoHotSprings Resort. For a long time, we wanted to go, now was the time. We made the drive and we were only a few miles away. Although, our navigation app informed us that we had over an hour drive remaining. We didn’t understand it until we were further down the road. It was a winding road that was so narrow it was almost one lane for most of it. Several sections also had cliffs with long drop-offs. After we made it to the beautiful resort, we settled into our camping cabin. It was basically beds and a table along with a fire pit. We then headed down to the South Fork San Joaquin River, which I called Mono Creek. We relaxed here and enjoyed the water. We then headed over to explore several of the #hotsprings nearby. There was Old Pedro and two others. The best part for us were the views of the Sierra where these were. After exploring the hot springs initially, we decided to save the rest for the next day, which will be included in part 2 of this series.
