** Editorial Note: There is some debate over the Roland D-50 being a rompler. While it has rompler-esque PCM sample-based attack, it also has a synth engine capable of producing sawtooth and pulse waves that can be combined with short PCM samples. We’ll talk about the app, the synthesizers that inspired its creation, and demo a bunch of presets from the KingD ROM-90s, DMT Cymatics, and Moby Pixel banks. Join me as we dive into this Digital D1 AUv3-compatible reboot that pays homage to classic sampler synths from the '80s and '90s.
