The Pitch 2024 Finale: A Competition of New Ideas
For the fifth year, CNAS hosted its premier event to elevate emerging and diverse voices in national security, The Pitch: A Competition of New Ideas. Twelve selected applicants made their pitch for innovative policy ideas to meet new challenges in U.S. national security policy in front of a distinguished panel of judges and a live virtual audience on Wednesday, April 24. For the first time, five finalists moved on to compete in person at the grand finale during the CNAS 2024 National Security Conference.
The 1LT Andrew J. Bacevich Jr., USA Award was also presented to Gibbs McKinley and Anna Pederson.
