US President Joe Biden is touting a major diplomatic victory, after securing the biggest prisoner swap with Russia since the Cold War. The exchange saw a total of 24 detainees freed -- 16 by Russia, and eight by the US and its allies. No money was exchanged and no sanctions were eased. Mr Biden welcomed three Americans home. Among the Americans are former marine Paul Whelan and Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, who were serving 16-year sentences on spying charges.
