Museum Stories documentary; It is a project that explores the stories of historical artifacts, museums and legends in every corner of Turkey.
In the 3rd episode of the 1st season, we go to the Cape Yason, which is located in the town of Persembe in Ordu province and smells completely of history. We will listen to the story of Jason Church, which has been the subject of many legends from Conan the Cimmerian to the Amazons' feast of light, from the Legend of the Golden Fleece to the Argonauts.

How interesting is that, isn't it? Even the possibility of a comic book character that has surrounded the whole world actually going through these lands is exciting.

Of course, every geography has a history that has been lived and will be lived, but which of them are valuable enough to reach today. That's why Cape Jason is important. Otherwise, Kisephone, Amasya strobon, Evliya Celebi would not have mentioned these beautiful lands.

Our fascination with history grows as we listen to the stories that unfold around the Church of Jason. A story as important as Conan the Chimerian is the feast of light of the Amazons. Just to chase these stories, you have to come to Ordu, Cape Jason, to see the Jason Church.

The most important of the Jason Church legends is surely the Legend of the Argonauts and the Golden Fleece. During the reign of Heracles, he sailed to the Black Sea to find a group of golden fleeces, among which was the power god Hercules. After the difficult journey, they arrive at Giresun Island and Cape Yason, where it is believed that the golden fleece is hidden. However, dragon-shaped birds welcome them from the very beginning. Of course, we will not cite all of the legend. We recommend that you go to the place where the events took place and listen to the story on the spot.

Of course, the surviving witness of Cape Yason, which has been the subject of so many legends and stories, is the Yason Church.
