You Can Subscribe For Less On Twitch! (Twitch Update)
Twitch is adding a system, where people can pay less to subscribe starting with Mexico & Turkey on May 20th! They're also adding "Local Subscribing" which allows a person to subscribe with the appropriate amount that they owe, depending what city/area they live in. For example, since I live in California, it's very expensive to live here. Which means, I can subscribe for even less, cause I'm already paying for bills, food, college, etc. I believe they're going to lower the cost of this in all countries, regardless, especially since streamers get half the pay.
I believe this is one of the best updates Twitch has ever made! This will truly help streamers get a lot of support, and use it to make even bigger streams happen! Such as upgraded content, collabs, charity, giveaways, and more!

For those who don't know, about 99% of streamers don't get a lot of revenue on Twitch, because Twitch takes half their cut. Twitch has also stated that they tested this new feature in Brazil, and said that many streamers have seen an increase in their revenue, and in their sub count. With this update, I'm very excited to see how it'll benefit the streamers worldwide. I have hopes that it'll help a ton!

My only concern about this, is that our revenue will be cut, since sub prices will be lowered. However, with prices of subscribing getting low, that means a high in-demand of people will start subscribing to more of their favorite streamers! If Twitch said that Brazil got an increase of revenue, than this update can change so many lives for streamers out there, who are trying to live, while making content/streaming on Twitch!
