Use HARO to build high-authority backlinks:

Here's a summary of all the steps mentioned:
-Try to reply quickly
-Reply to those queries that you think you can be on POINT in offering an awesome tidbit
-Copy and paste the query title in the email subject line
-Keep your response short and snappy.
-Include your reply fully within your FIRST reply. Do NOT simply offer to talk later.
-Include your link. Do so clearly and quickly (this isn't the time for self-promotion). It could be your main website, or it could be a blog post
-End with your credentials. I use a pat answer that I copy and paste in every query.

I forgot to do this in the video, but be sure to put quotation marks around your name in the google alert, otherwise, you'll be alerted to lots of things that have nothing to do with you!
