NOTIFICATION
Attention: All Head of Institutions, students and other concerned under the purview of the Council
As per the Section 18(1) of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary
Education (Examination) Regulations 2024, this is to notify all the
stakeholders that the Council has prohibited the use of any type of
calculators in the examinations under Semester System (i.e. Semester I to
Semester IV including practical examinations of Class XI & XII).
Henceforth, the students/examinees must not carry/bring calculators into
the examination hall/venue premises during the examinations of any
Semester of Class XI and XII (both theory and practical examinations).
Possession of calculator(s) by any examinee as mentioned above will be
considered as a disobedience of the regulation and subjected to the
disciplinary action against him/her.
However, this notification will not be applicable to the examinees/candidates of H.S. Examination, 2025 and they will be allowed to use the calculators as per the previous norms/practice in both theory and practical examinations.
All the concerned are requested to take necessary action accordingly.
