Marmosets are small primates from South and Central America, distinguished by their miniature size (only 15-20 cm excluding the tail) and bright fluffy ears. They live in trees, lead a diurnal lifestyle and feed on insects, fruits and tree sap. Marmosets are known for their social behavior: they live in groups where they jointly care for their offspring. They have sharp claws, not flat nails like most primates, which helps them climb trees.
