Where a song like "True Love Waits" already had a reputation then found its status elevated through functioning as a poignant bookend for Thom Yorke's first marriage, much has been said of "Videotape" and its apparently hidden rhythm, but less time is invested in studying this reflection of a metaphorical dying person reaching out to loved ones from beyond their eventual grave via the titular recording medium, perfectly mirroring its place as the final throes of a well-paced musical rollercoaster.
