"Underneath the Arches" is a popular British song from 1932 with words and music by Bud Flanagan, who sang and recorded it with his long-time music-hall partner Chesney Allen. It was one of the numbers used in a sequence entitled "Black Tuesday" by the Paul Taylor Dance Company which featured 'Songs from the Great Depression.' The clip shown here comes from a TV transmission recorded during the company's UK tour in 2003.
