Return of the Airfix Club! Does it still have that modelling MAGIC?
I was once a member of the Airfix Club back in the early 00's. It seemed to have an element of magic to it - sending off tokens and getting new kits, getting a mystery kit sent to you when you joined up. It helped to connect you to the community of modellers in an age before the prevalence of the internet.
In 2018 they closed the club to renew and refresh it, but following delay after delay it eventually re-launched in mid 2020 (a whole year late). Join me in this video as I take a look at the latest version of the Airfix club and see if it's still worth it and if it still has that modelling magic?
