Can I Light A Fire Under A Tarp?
"Is it OK to light a fire under a tarp?", is a common question I receive. Even though I have posted some photos of fires under tarps, people worry (rightly) about damaging expensive and/or delicate tarps, particularly silicone-nylon tarps. In this video I set a fire under such a sil-nylon tarp, with no issues. I also explain some of the considerations I take into account. I hope you find this useful/reassuring.
