Get Notified for Covid-19 Vaccine using Python | Made with ❤️ for 🇮🇳 | Developers Need Vaccine Too!
India has commenced its more liberalized phase-3 vaccination program from May 1, making those above 18 years of age eligible for the anti-Covid shots.
But the vaccine is still not available in all the cities, So far some major cities have been given vaccination slots for 18+ people.
So, our team has written a python script, which will notify its users whenever the vaccine is available in their area according to their pin code and their age group.
Just follow the steps as shown in the video and write your own script in just 4 minutes.
To run the script in the background, run the following command:
python covid_vaccine_notifier.py &
By running the script in the background, the script will check for slot availability for the next 7 days from now every 15 min and the users will get notified
