James Norman Hiddleston, Tom's father, was born in Scotland, in 1939. James had positions as managing director and chemist in a biotechnology company connected to Oxford University. In 1978, James wed Tom's mother. They divorced in 1994 but he continued to be involved in the kids' care after the divorce and kept a friendly relationship.
Born in November 1951, Diana Patricia Servaes, Tom's mother, is the daughter of Lieutenant William R. Servaes. Diana, however works as a performance stage manager and an arts administrator. From her marriage to James, she had three children, including Tom.
Guess what? Emma Hiddleston, Tom's younger sister, is a well-known actress who is most recognized for her work in The Witcher, Wolf Wall, Endeavour and Unrelated. Emma has had a talent for performing since she was a young child. She later attended Oxford Dragon School before attending the University of Cambridge to pursue degrees in anthropology and art history. She also received a Soprano diploma from Dublin Music College.
