Sometimes we unexpectedly face situations when something is lost forever. All that is left to do is grieve. That is how 2 Samuel begins — David grieving the death of Saul and Jonathan and uniting the nation of Israel through their shared grief. This is the first message in a 10-week series on 2 Samuel titled The Reigning King.
