The 2005 to 2014 mx5 mk3 or NC has a small issue with the cooling system, which a lot of modern cars like the R53 mini also have, which is a plastic coolant res tank which split when aged due to the heat cycles
I bought a reasonably cheap aluminium coolant tank off eBay and I’m really pleased with it.
This will stop the NC randomly leaking coolant and leading to engine failure if left unnoticed
For the price and the visual benefits under the bonnet I’m pleased with this mod and would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to keep their mx5 NC for a while into the future
